Autumn Term Clubs

Our internal Extracurricular Clubs for Autumn term will run from w/c 21st September until w/c 30th November.

Enrolment for Autumn Term clubs will open at 8:00pm on Thursday 17th September. Parents will be able to view available clubs on the MCAS app in Extracurricular Clubs under the ‘Available’ tab. To enrol, simply select your chosen club, add it to your basket, and complete the checkout to secure a place. Please note that enrolment must be completed separately for each child, as club availability varies by year group.

All clubs cost £20 for the term and are non-refundable. Autumn clubs will run from the week commencing 21st September to the week commencing 30th November, totalling 10 sessions. Please note that Monday and Wednesday clubs will run for 9 sessions due to Non-Pupil Days. All clubs take place from 3:20pm to 4:20pm. Children booked into FISH will be escorted there by the club leader at the end of the session.

We are committed to ensuring that children in receipt of Pupil Premium funding continue to benefit from these opportunities and there will be no charge for these pupils. If you think your child could be entitled to Pupil Premium funding but you have not yet registered, please confirm your eligibility by completing an Online Free School Meals application.

Please ensure that your contact information, as well as your child’s dietary and medical details, are correctly recorded in the Data Collection section of MCAS, as this information will be shared with club leaders.

Spaces are limited. If a club is full, you may add your child to the waiting list, and we will notify you if a place becomes available.

Once enrolled, your child’s club will appear under the ‘Enrolled’ tab, where you will also be able to view the date of the next session.

We will always do our very best to avoid cancelling clubs but if it is unavoidable, we will notify parents via an MCAS app message as soon as possible. Please ensure the school office have your up to date contact details and you have access to the MCAS app.

Pick-up after clubs is from the carpark gate at 4:20pm (Please do not park in the staff car park for safety reasons).

Book & Comic Club – Tuesdays with Ms Case

Book and Comic Club is a fun and engaging opportunity for children to enjoy reading a range of books from stories to non-fiction and comics. Children will explore a variety of books and comics, share their favourite characters and adventures, take part in games, discussions and simple drawing activities linked to the books they read. 

Lego & Construction Club – Tuesdays with Mrs Western

Lego and construction club is a relaxed space to develop creativity, solve STEM challenges, and share your builds with others.

Drawing Club – Tuesdays with Mrs Morton & Mrs Joomun

In drawing club, children will draw using a range of materials. Sometimes they will practise using observational skills, sometimes following step by step instructions and sometimes drawing from their imaginations. 

Arts & Crafts Club - Thursdays with Mrs Featherstone & Mrs Hannah

This club will be built around nature inspired arts and crafts which reflect what is happening within the changing seasons. Sessions will be hands on with a focus on developing children’s foundational crafting skills such as; sticking, cutting and joining whilst allowing them to be creative and artistic.  

Sessions will take place at Forest School.
