Our internal Extracurricular Clubs for Summer term will run from w/c 27th April until w/c 6th July.
We are introducing a new enrolment process for our Extracurricular Clubs. There will no longer be an application form; instead, all enrolments will be completed directly through the MCAS app via the Extracurricular Clubs section.
Enrolment for Summer Term clubs will open at 8:00pm on Monday 30th March. Parents will be able to view available clubs under the ‘Available’ tab. To enrol, simply select your chosen club, add it to your basket, and complete the checkout to secure a place. Please note that enrolment must be completed separately for each child, as club availability varies by year group.
We are committed to ensuring that children in receipt of Pupil Premium funding continue to benefit from these opportunities. Enrolment for Pupil Premium pupils will open 72 hours earlier, at 8:00pm on Friday 27th March, and there will be no charge for these pupils. If you think your child could be entitled to Pupil Premium funding but you have not yet registered, please confirm your eligibility by completing an Online Free School Meals application.
All clubs cost £20 for the term and are non-refundable. Summer clubs will run from the week commencing 27th April to the week commencing 6th July, totalling 10 sessions. Please note that Monday clubs will run for 8 sessions due to a Bank Holiday and a Non-Pupil Day. All clubs take place from 3:20pm to 4:30pm. Children booked into FISH will be escorted there by the club leader at the end of the session.
Please ensure that your contact information, as well as your child’s dietary and medical details, are correctly recorded in the Data Collection section of MCAS, as this information will be shared with club leaders.
Spaces are limited. If a club is full, you may add your child to the waiting list, and we will notify you if a place becomes available.
Once enrolled, your child’s club will appear under the ‘Enrolled’ tab, where you will also be able to view the date of the next session.
We hope this new system makes the enrolment process simpler and more convenient for families. Our Summer Club offer is detailed below.
We will always do our very best to avoid cancelling clubs but if it is unavoidable, we will notify parents via an MCAS app message as soon as possible. Please ensure the school office have your up to date contact details and you have access to the MCAS app.
Pick-up after clubs is from the carpark gate at 4:30pm (Please do not park in the staff car park for safety reasons).
